Welcome

Welcome to the CIOXchange - a collaborative networking site for technology executives hosted by The CIO Collaborative. Think of it as an advice column for CIOs!

We've established this site to tap into the collective knowledge of IT professionals everywhere. The goal is to create a place to get your questions answered and share insights, information, and lessons learned. We'll respond to your questions with what we've learned over the years as technology leaders and in our consulting practice, and look for you to join in.

We'll stick with a topic until the conversation slows down, then we'll work on a new one. If we find a topic is really popular, we can launch a separate discussion thread for it too.

A few things to keep in mind:

1. This network is for technology executives. It is not meant to be technical in nature so let's stick with management, leadership and strategic topics.

2. Participation is not restricted, so the site is open to public and private sector technology leaders, as well as, technology vendors and consultants. We'll monitor the discussion though and remind vendors and consultants that this site is not the appropriate forum for a sales pitch.

3. We welcome CIOs-in-training as we love the idea of helping the next generation of IT leaders.

4. We encourage everyone to give as well as take away good advice, insights and lessons learned.

We're happy that you're here. Sign up, share, and encourage others to join us the discussion!
